Longer, signposted, mostly flowing trail from Sparenmoos via Hundsrügg and back to Sparenmoos. But first you warm up via Sitealp.

The Hundsrügg, with its 2047 m high summit above the Sparenmoos high plateau, offers a breathtaking view of 427 peaks and is known for its rich floral splendour. The 20.44 km trailrunning route runs over the long of the Hundsrügg and rewards your efforts with this magnificent panorama, including the imposing Mont Blanc.

The trail, marked with red signs and white lettering, leads gently through the cultural landscape, created by alpine farmers over the centuries. The starting point is the car park at the DAO Sparenmoos seminar house.

The trail offers a good mix of flowing sections and technical passages, with 95 per cent of the trail being flowing and 5 per cent technically challenging. Around 73 per cent of the route is on narrow paths and only 3.5 per cent on asphalt.
